Pint Defiance Seattle Beer Week Marathon 2016, May 12th - 22nd
Stretch your hammies and break-in your new running shoes, because Pint Defiance’s 3rd Annual Seattle Beer Week Marathon is just around the bend. We’ve rallied a curated collection of beers from local Washington brewers for an eleven-day challenge to craft beers drinkers of all walks to enjoy 26 different Washington brews. Throughout Seattle Beer Week, all of our taps will feature all Washington beers—a mix of crowd favorites and “ultra” rarities—run back-to-back-to-back. Our Sampler Sunday flights will feature all Washington beers too, which will net you four punches. And a new twist this year: we are allowing marathoners to “jump the gun” a day early with a Sour Start on May 11th; we will have three sour beers on from some of Washington’s best sour producers that will give you a head start on punches. Runners that complete the Marathon by the 22nd will get an exclusive Pint Defiance finishers t-shirt. Come in during Seattle Beer Week and order a Washington brew to start your punch card, and you’ll want to start your marathon with the pistol because we’ve been planning our draft lineup all year and have some great surprises in store. And as new twist on our popular event, we are giving you an opportunity to “jump the gun.” On the eve of Seattle Beer Week—Wednesday, May 11th, at 5pm—we will be tapping up three unique Washington sours from some of the best producers in the state and giving you the chance to start your marathon punch card early. A glass of any of the three will net you a punch, getting you that much closer to the finish line.
On tap we will have: Engine House #9 “From Pasadena with Love” Citrus Wine-Barrel Sour, Heathen Blackberry Sour, and Stoup Sour #4.
