on Fri, 06/06/2014 - 18:37

You’ve got a rare opportunity to meet one of the founders of one of the most renowned craft breweries in the States, if not the world. Firestone Walker has been defining the boundaries of craft beer since its founding in 1997. On Monday, June 16th, from 3pm to 5pm, David Walker will be at Pint Defiance talking beer, sharing stories, and signing bottles. We’ll have Firestone Walker beers on draft including the old favorites Union Jack and DBA, plus a very rare keg from their Barrelworks Program, 2014 Li’l Opal Blended Oak-Aged Saison. We also received a very small additional allocation of

on Fri, 05/16/2014 - 00:03

Our famous Brewer's Nights have returned after a successful Seattle Beer Week, and we are turning our attention out of state with our latest.

We had originally scheduled an evening with Oakshire Brewing, but due to supply chain issues we are forced to reschedule.

Replacing them on short notice are our good pals from Bend, 10 Barrel Brewing! Tomorrow 5 - 7PM.

We will be celebrating the much anticipated annual release of SWILL (Sour-Radler) and the release of the brand new S.A.M. IPA (Simcoe, Amarillo, Mosaic)!
Shop favorites O.G. IPA & S1nist0r Black will round out the tap line up.

Pints for the Point w/ Ninkasi Brewing Company, Wed. May 7th, 5p-7p

on Wed, 04/30/2014 - 23:54

Given that we took our name from our city’s biggest andmost beautiful park, it should be obvious that Point Defiance holds a special place in our hearts. Which is why we are throwing a fundraiser for one of its most historic landmarks, Fort Nisqually. Established in 1833 by the Hudson Bay Company and moved to Tacoma’s peninsula in 1933, the fort acts as a repository of living history, and their camps and classes—run by our dear friend Mike McGuire (a.k.a. Fort Mike)—continue to educate kids about the rich history of the South Puget Sound.

With the help of Ninkasi Brewing Company, Pint
