Pumpkin Beer Extravaganza and Grown-Up Trick-or-Treat, Oct. 30th & 31st

on Fri, 10/25/2013 - 03:03

Halloween has become overtaken by pint-sized pirates and childish ghouls for too long, and we aim to do something about it—with a 2-day pumpkin beer extravaganza for grown-ups only.

Starting Wednesday, Oct. 30th, at 3pm we will be tapping up a selection of some of the season’s most popular pumpkin beers for pint and growler fills.

The main festivities begin on Ol’ Hallows-Eve, Thursday the 31st, at 5pm, where the first 50 customers to order a pumpkin beer get a Trick-or-Treat bag filled with awesome treats and beer schwag (1 per person). On tap while it lasts will be a super-rare Brandy

Beer Float Social: Pumpkin Edition - Sat. Oct. 26th, 2pm to 6pm

on Fri, 10/18/2013 - 02:32

This time of year, the streets are flooded with fun-sized hootzits, never-lasting goobstoppers, and other sugary junk. But what about those of us that want a more refined treat? Pint Defiance is coming to the rescue with the next installment of our popular Beer Float Social.

Saturday, Oct. 26th, from 2pm to 6pm, scoops of custom frozen flavors will be served up by our friends at Ice Cream Social and we’ll be pouring seasonally appropriate pumpkin beers to pair. Combined, these two ingredients create the perfect adult treat—the beer float. You won’t want to miss this.

Remember that first sip of craft beer? How it changed your idea of what could (and should) be? For a lot of people, that beer was a New Belgium brew. Starting with a bike trip through Belgium in 1989, the idealistic Fort Collins, CO brewery began with two recipes, Abbey and Fat Tire. Today they are the third largest craft-brewer in the US, producing over 760,000 barrels, and sends their creations to 31 states. All while maintaining a dedication to craft, quality, and creativity.

We are big fans of New Belgium at Pint Defiance, which is why we are
