Brewer's Night with Holy Mountain, Wed. Jan. 11th, 5-7p

What more can be said about Seattle's Holy Mountain Brewing that hasn't already been said? Since they opened their doors in 2014, nothing but praise and superlatives have been heaped onto them. With their minimalist taproom and brand design, the focus has been and will always be on one thing: excellent beer. While a majority of their output has primarily been oak conditioned farmhouse ales, they tackle more esoteric styles--like English Milds or Czech-style Pilsners--with aplomb. Droves of beer fans queue up on weekends for their bottle releases, and tourists travel across multiple states to make the pilgramage.

We are lucky to be in close proximity with Holy Mountain, and we are taking advantage of that for the first Brewer's Night of 2017. Join us Wednesday, January 11th, from 5pm to 7pm as we host the crew from Holy Mountain in what is sure to also be the best Brewer's Night of 2017 (thus far). We will have some awesome brews on tap, including the infamous Kiln & Cone Dry-Hopped Pale, Three Fates Czech-style Pilsner, Covenant Oak-Aged Farmhouse, Barrel-Aged King's Head Double Brown Ale, plus bottle pours of Corpse Reviver Barrel-Fermented Sour Ale with lemon zest. You won't want to miss this.

UPDATE: Two more Holy Mountain brews have been added to this already killer lineup--Crystal Ship Foudre Aged Saison and Bonne Nuit Belgian Style Strong Ale!

2016 Goose Island BCBS Release and Benefit for Emergency Food Network

Shopping can be dangerous on Black Friday. You run the risk of being trampled, gouged, poked, maimed, and shoved. Personally, we at Pint Defiance don’t get it, which is why we are hosting our own Black Friday celebration to serve as a refuge from the usual. We have some exciting draft releases all weekend along with the highly anticipated release of the 2016 Goose Island Bourbon County Brand Stout (BCBS). We recieved significantly less stock than in previous years so getting here early is recommended. Limit 1 bottle per person.

But since the holidays are about giving back, we are allowing limit to 2 for anyone who brings in a new, non-perishable food donation for the Emergency Food Network. This awesome non-profit provides 16 million pounds of healthy, nutritious food annually to 70 food banks, hot meal sites and shelters for distribution to families and individuals in need, and you can give back all while getting more.

On tap we will have:
-2015 Deschutes Abyss Imperial Stout
-Elysian Brewing Men’s Room Black
-Goose Island Madame Rose Cherry Sour
-Goose Island 2016 BCBS

AND THEN…2015 BCBS on Sat. Nov. 26th, and 2014 BCBS on Sun Nov. 27th. Don't Miss out on your chance to try all 3 vintages!

You can even get a head start on your Christmas shopping. We have awesome shirts and beer glasses, growlers and gift certificates. You’d be surprised how many people you can get marked off your list, all while sipping a pint. And the only risk of physical harm is an especially enthusiastic high-five.
The fun starts at 10am on Friday the 25th.

pFrieemont Double Brewer's Night, Wed. Nov. 16th, 5-7p

You know how much fun our Brewer’s Nights are? Well we’ve doubled the fun for our latest. We’ve doubled down and doubled up with two crowd favorite breweries: Fremont Brewing and pFriem Family Brewers! Not much more praise can be heaped upon these two PNW giants of craft beer, and the quality of their beers speak for themselves.
Our very own home-grown pFriem rep, Scott Travis, and our friend Charlie Patnoe from Fremont will be here to raise a glass with, and nearly every one of our tap will be pouring beer from one of the two breweries. And of course there will be copious amounts of schwag to win, free high fives, and lots of stupid crazy fun. We are pouring some rarities from both Fremont and pFriem; check out this taplist:
-Fremont Beta IPA
-pFriem El Dorado Single Hop Pale Ale
-Fremont S’Mores-Infused Proletariat Porter
-pFriem Kumquat Farmhouse Ale
-Fremont La Premiere Brett IPA
-pFriem Dry Irish Stout

PLUS! More to come.
